Read Hebrews 8–10.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:23–25
Dear God,
The world can be so dark and cold. Sometimes it is so easy to be negative and critical and miss all the blessings held in each day. Help me today, Father, to be an encourager to the discouraged, to offer love to the most unlovable in my life, and to do as many kind deeds as I can today. In giving, we receive. By doing and giving each of these things, I can feel my spirit being lifted. Thank you, God, for pulling me closer to you.
I love you, Papa.
