Read Colossians 3–4.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them together in perfect unity.
Colossians 3:12–14

Dear God,
Thank you for the words of St. Paul, the words you gave him for us to hear. Help us to live it. Help us to hear your requests and act upon them even though it’s hard. Help me to remember the gruesome death that you endured for me when I have trouble forgiving. Help me to love like you in my words, actions, thoughts, and listening. Soften my heart, Lord. Quiet my mind, and focus my life on yours. Thank you for being such a great teacher, Father, friend, and forgiver. Thank you for never, ever giving up on me.
I love you, Papa.
