Read Colossians 1–2.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6–7

Dear God,
There are so many things to be thankful for, so much stuff, but if I look beyond the “stuff,” I see so many relationships—so many people you have placed in my path. Some people are my calling from you to help, but most are there to help guide me on the path you have paved for me. Help me to acknowledge these people and thank them. Thank you for making all my messes beautiful by placing people directly in my life. Quiet my heart and mind, God, so that I may hear the Holy Spirit calling me to be a helper for someone else, and when I hear it, give me the strength to act upon it.
I love you, Papa.
