Read Ephesians 3–4.
In your anger, do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry and do not give the devil a foothold.
Ephesians 4:26–27
Do not let unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building other up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31
Dear God,
Search my heart and remove all anger, bitterness, resentment, and rage. Fill me up with kindness, compassion, forgiveness, love, grace, and mercy. Fill me up with joy and hope with you at the center of my core. Direct my thoughts, words, and actions, and bless them. Help me to open my ears so that I may hear what you need me to do today. Soften my heart so that I may say yes to all you have planned for me today, even before you ask. Lead me in your Spirit.
I love you, Papa.
