Read 1 Corinthians 7–9.
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. But whoever loves God is known by God.
1 Corinthians 8:1–3
Dear God,
What a gift it is to be loved by you, but it gets even better to be known by you. Some are afraid that you “know” us. We cannot hide anything from you, and there is so much shame, regret, and guilt. Your love is so great that you know everything and love us anyway, no matter what! You know all our “stuff,” and you love us anyway! Thank you, Jesus, for knowing where we are and for loving us anyway. What an amazing Father you are. Help us to let go of our “stuff” so that we can love and know you right back.
I love you, Papa.
