Read Romans 3–4.

David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.” Romans 4:6–7

Dear God,
Thank you for your faithful promises. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for loving us to death and back. Thank you for your patience. It must be so hard to hear our doubts and our whining. It must be so hard to watch us continue to make wrong choices. But like a tender Father, you redirect and refocus us. You gracefully break us to get us to our ultimate destination: you. Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Thank you for forgiving us over and over again. Thank you for being the very best Father.
I love you, Papa.
