Read Acts 13–14.
The people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews, others with the apostles. Acts 14:4
In the past he let all nations go their own way. Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.
Acts 14:16–17
Dear God,
Wow. What a list. You provide everything we need. You provide kindness, forgiveness, love, rain, and joy, but do we receive it? We are divided, Lord. Unite us with your Holy Spirit so that we can stop focusing on what divides us and start doing your work of saving, helping, forgiving, healing, and loving. The world needs you, God. The people on my prayer list need you. I need you. Forgive us, Father. Heal your children. Heal our nation. Help us to love, honor, and obey.
I love you, Papa.
