The Great Commission
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
Dear God,
Thank You for Your life and Your death. Thank You for loving us even in our doubting. Let this Easter Monday be the beginning of a new year where we proclaim God’s glory to all we meet. Let this Easter Monday be a reset for us as we make some corrections in our lives to live as You taught us. Let this Easter Monday be a fresh start to begin each day with love in our heart, thoughts, words and actions. Thank You for reminding us during this Lenten Season and Holy Week the way in which You want us to live, to love and to treat each other. Help us now to do it. Ignite Your followers, Lord. The world needs us now more than ever. Allow us in Your authority to teach, serve and love this broken world as You did 2000 years ago and as You do today. Thank You for never leaving our sides and always being available to guide, support, encourage, comfort, protect and love. Your love is the greatest gift ever given. I vow today to never stop telling the world about You, my Savior, Forgiver, Redeemer, and Friend; the one whom I call “Papa”.
I love You, Papa.
