Read John 18:28-40

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

“You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
John 18:36-37

Dear God,
You came to testify to the the truth. You are the truth. You showed us how to live, love, sacrifice, encourage and forgive. You taught us how to serve. You died to create a bridge for us to Your Holy Kingdom. This world wants us to believe that You are just a story. This world would have us believe that the “Holy Kingdom” is power, money, success, people, government or whatever we let control our lives. These are the lies of the prince of this world, the devil. This is the chaos he creates and we fall for them every time. Take us back, Papa, to the foundation of our faith. Allow us to feel the stirring in our souls. Allow us to fill the hunger and longing we have with Your presence. Touch every heart. Remind us whose we are. I hear Your voice calling out. I see You standing there with open arms beckoning us to come back. Wash over us today, Lord. Renew our passion for You as we pray the words and truth You taught us: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” I am Yours, Papa. I am listening and eagerly awaiting Your Holy Kingdom.
I love You, Papa
