Read John 14:15-31
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:15-21
Dear God,
Thank You for Your love, Your great sacrifice and the gift of the Spirit of Truth. Holy Spirit, fill me up! Allow me to hear Your guiding voice and follow. Allow my eyes to be open to the glory all around me. With You in my heart, I feel the most overwhelming love. I see spectacular beauty in the smile of a child, I find peace in forgiving and I have no fear in the midst of life’s circumstances. Come, Holy Spirit, You are welcome in me. Fill me up so that I may continue to see You move in my life. Speak to me and allow me to see Your presence in the gentle breeze, the chirping of the birds, the voice of a loved one and the eyes of a stranger. Direct my thought and bless them. Use my words to help others see You, know You and praise You.
