Read John 7:1-24
Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.” John 7:16–18
Dear God,
Jesus was humble. He served. He put himself last so we would be first. He modeled how we should treat each other. He went to the cross with our sins so we could be saved. How hard was this, knowing so many didn’t even believe Him? Today, I pray to seek the glory of God in all that I do, say, and think. Humble my heart, Lord, so that I might do your will. Give me a serving spirit so that I may follow Jesus in His truth.
I love you, Papa.
