Read John 3:1-21

“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”          John 3:14–18

Dear God,
What love to send your only Son to this world to save us and to grant us mercy, grace, forgiveness, and life everlasting. How horrible it must have been to see the world you created reject, rebuke, and crucify Him. What a sacrifice. What a testimony of love. You loved us to the death of your one and only Son. There is no greater love than yours. Thank you for loving us in spite of what we do. Thank you for saving us from ourselves and from this world. Thank you for sending your Son to this world for my salvation. Today I will praise, rejoice, and worship the name of Jesus, my Savior and my redeemer, the one who loves me more than I can even comprehend. Thank you for your love and your sacrifice to ensure eternal life with you.
I love you, Papa.
