My mom died unexpectedly on 4/20/2020. I found myself lost, grieving and looking for direction. I didn’t start writing Prayers to Papa until 10/29/2020 when I began journaling and praying my way through the Bible. Today I will start sharing the journal entries from “the in between”. This was the time it took for God to lead me on my journey into scripture with my Prayers to Papa.

Dear God,
You meet us wherever our “there” is. Help me to seek You in my pain, my praise, my disobedience, my victories and in all that I do so that I can take the next step on this path closer to You.
I love You, Papa.
