Read Luke 12
Meditate on verses 32-34
Dear God,
Those words should be on a huge billboard, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also!”  What do we treasure most?  Is it things, money, power, likes, attention or fame?  The things of this earth leave us empty and wanting for more.  The things of this earth rob us of our days through worry and endless work, but we have been given the Kingdom of God!  “Do not be afraid, little flock!”  Today, Father, I open my hands and my heart to receive and accept Your gifts of love, family acceptance, forgiveness, encouragement, hope, mercy and joy. I accept these gifts that no thief can take away and only You can offer.  Fill me up with Your love, generosity, grace and peace.  Give me the faith to believe and understand that these are the gifts that will not run out but will grow and become contagious.  Allow these treasures of You to become the very source of my life.  Allow them to be the things I value most and the the things that give me security and faith.  Thank You, Lord, for my treasures that will never fail and always sustain through life and death.
I love You, Papa.
