Read Luke 6
Meditate on verses 12-23
Dear God,
You sent Your only Son to save the world, but even the Savior prays!  He needed Your help, Your support, Your guidance, Your love and Your friendship.  Jesus needed help to fulfill His most difficult mission so He picked twelve “helpers” of His own.  He chose twelve broken people to teach and mold knowing that one of them would eventually send Him to the cross.  He loved everyone even those who hated Him.  He healed all who asked and the number of people following Him and witnessing daily miracles was huge. Sometimes, I wish I was there to see all of this with my own eyes, but then I wonder if the same daily miracles are happening all around me and because of my lack of faith, I just don’t see them. We like to claim these miracles as our own.  Miracle drugs, cures to diseases, recoveries from accidents and addictions, reconciliations, aren’t all of these blessings from You?  Didn’t You give the knowledge to the doctors?  Didn’t You give the healing?  DIdn’t You give the strength to fight?  Forgive me, Father, for my mustard seed faith.  Today, I will put on the shoes of Your disciples, listen, learn, follow and obey.  Thank You for continuing to save us day after day.
I love You, Papa.
